Merry Christmas

These are my precious babies(I know they are growing up).  Oh, I love them so much.  I love to see them laugh and happy.  So it brings me to the topic of Christmas.  My little man came home and told me that Santa was watching him.  He said Santa was seeing if he was naughty or nice.  I asked him where he heard that information.  He said a friend at school. In my mind I said here we go with other things getting a hold of his thinking.  I said you know we don't believe that Santa can see all things.  He said yes, I do.  I asked him why?  He said his friend said so and he was a church goer and that is how he believed.  This was from his mouth.  I sure do underestimate how much he takes into his mind.  We then went into a long discussion how we believe that only Jesus can see all that we do.  He wasn't buying it.  In my frustration I asked (begged) Leon to please get through to him.  Leon talked with him.  Leon said for me not to worry, little man would get it in his timing.

These are the pictures they have made at school and Sunday School this Christmas season.  Both of my little ones are visual.  So we decorate our wall.  The other night I saw little man starring at these pictures.  Right now we play a low key on Santa although he is apart of our celebration.  We put a heavy emphasis on Jesus being born, the greatest gift of all and Jesus birthday.  My hearts desire is that they know the true meaning of Christmas.  It is all one step at a time.  It may not seem like we are getting through, but I know we are making a difference in their lives.  Lots and lots of repetition and prayers for their little hearts.
Well, off to my little sweeties school Christmas Party.
