My heart desires to know God and his Word. In the busyness of life, making time for God is so necessary. Without time with him my life does not go so smooth. This past year my one word has been BELIEVE. I have grown so much. Putting this into practice as I read God's Word and applied it to my life. In James 1:21-25 it talks about the Word of God and what to do with what I read. This reading has made me realize that I would like to walk more thoroughly and humbly according to the scriptures. Not something I do as a head knowledge, but by grace, to change the things that are pointed out to me in my life. An assignment was given to make and acrostic with the word, WORDS according to what I had read in James.

S intently the perfect law of liberty
James wanted us to know the true value of the scriptures. This could be accomplished by putting them into practice. (reading and letting it soak into our being. A part of our lifestyle)
The perfect law gives freedom. Looking intently, Continues (persists in looking), not forgetting, and doing the Scriptures.
Psalms 40:7-8 I delight to do your will, O my God, and your law is within my heart.
