The Game

Leon got this game for Christmas.  We as a family have been playing a lot of this on our Christmas vacation.  What I LOVE about this game is that if you do not work together you can't get anywhere.  You can even play as one player but you still can't do certain things by yourself.  This has been such a great teaching tool.  Who knew?  Whoever has control number one is in charge.  With the little ones they get into arguments.  I tell them they have to work together.  After awhile they do.  They know that if they don't they can't play.  In this game there are two players.  The game will only let one player get so far ahead of the other before the other player cannot move.  I know this would be frustrating for some and it is at times for me.  When the little ones play with Leon and I  they have to follow us.  They like to lead.  Do their own thing.  We don't let them.  They have to communicate and then follow one of us.  When Leon and I are playing together I always follow him.  Trying to teach the leadership in the home to the little ones.  This game has even been good for Leon and I in the communication area.  If you don't talk to one another and move in the same direction this game doesn't work.  Let's just say not all moments are smooth :).  We do have fun with this game.   Whenever it gets a little stressful, I try and lighten the mood.  Who knew that Princess Leigh has dancing moves.  I found that out by accident last night.  So of course, we had to make her do her moves quite often.  Even got a laugh out of Leon when the mood was getting a little tense.  What a great game for our family.  Christmas vacation is almost over.  We will have to put a little less time into this game when we get back to our school routine.  :(

Love all of you my blogging sisters.  You are such an encouragement to me.  Each and every one of you have such a special place in my heart.  I love how God has put us all together.  I really appreciate every ones different qualities.  Each of you are prayed for today.

P.S.    A little humor.  Please laugh.   I laughed.  I went to look at my followers. How I end up following myself  when I think I am following someone else is beyond me.  Ha Ha
