The Serenity Prayer

I love this prayer.  This has come up many times in my life.  My Grandmother has given it to me on occasion when life challenges are hard.  I have seen it on plaques, cards and pictures.  Life goes on and the prayer is no longer in the front of my mind, because it is not needed at the time.  Here recently this prayer has been given to me in two different forms.  I needed to be reminded of this prayer during the season that I am in.  I love that God is an all listening God at all times.  Prayer!  I love that I can be in prayer at anytime.  The other week Pastor Jeff gave an excellent example about prayer.  God is always available.  I don't have to make an appointment.  I will always get through.  Not like the President.  He is important.  I might make an appointment or a call, I might get through but I would probably never get to see the president.  God knows my specific need at the specific time I am calling on Him.  This brings such peace.
